Connecting and Starting Operation of the System: Multiple Device Connection

In addition to setting the connection type "Multiple Device Connection" (see also page 9) you
can also set the operational mode, either local (one cell) or multiple cell operation (see also page
153). The default setting is multiple device connection and one cell operation.
Using this setting your Gigaset 1054isdn can only be operated on a multiple device connection
that was installed by the Deutsche Telekom AG.
The settings for the system connection are found on page 32.

Note:
Telephoning between internal subscribers using multiple base stations only makes sense,
when your Gigaset is connected to a telephone system.
The telephone system must support internal calling (see chapter "Multiple Cell Systems"
page 153).

tiple cell operation within a telephone
system.
