Switching to Another Base Station during a Call

If you have installed a multicell system with at least two ISDN base stations, then you are able to
switch the ISDN base station during an external call without having to interrupt the external call.
If you determine that you have approached the limitation of the operational range of the base sta-
tion and want to switch to the next base station, inform your communications partner that you
will pause for a moment to switch base stations.

You have two options:
1. Allow an automatic search for the next base station

or
2. Select the next base station manually.

limitations of the operational range.
You want to continue the call on the
next base station.
Press this to park the call.
The system releases
(The automatic selection of the base
station must be set; see "Base Station
Selection Automatic/Manual/Com-
bined" , page 157).
When the base station is found, the
number will be displayed (here 2).
Press this key to continue the call on the
new base station.
(Manual selection of the base station
must be set; see "Base Station Selec-
tion Automatic/Manual/Combined" , page
157).
Press these keys one after another.
Enter the number of the base station to
which you want to switch,
here 2.
Press the store key.
The mobile unit will search for the next
station. When the base station is
found...
Press this key to continue the call on the
other base station.
