Setting the Connection Configuration for Internal Subscribers

You can define which types of devices can be served on the subscriber connections in the sys-
tem.
Cordless devices (internal subscriber numbers 1 to 8) are either mobile units or cordless TAE
connections like Gigaset 1000TAE that allow, for example, the connection for telephones and fax
machines cordless to Gigaset 1054isdn. "Mobile unit" is the default setting for these devices.
For the cord connected devices (internal subscriber numbers 0 and 9) the devices"type „tele-
phone" is the default setting. Modems or fax machines should be connected to 0, and a door
opener can only be connected to connection 9.

until "Equipment data" is in the 1st line und

until "a/b line"is in the 1st line and then
select with OK.

of the two accessory device connections
and select with OK; here "a/b connection 0" .
The menu for selecting the device type is
displayed (complete menu left).
Use NEXT to select the device type and
confirm with STORE; here "FAX" .

line and then select with OK.
