Connection / Operation Type of System: : Setting System Connection

The Gigaset 1054isdn can be operated both on a multiple device connection and a system con-
nection (see also page 9). Using the following procedure you can setup operation on a system
connection.
Using this setting your Gigaset 1054isdn can only be operated on a system connection that 1. In

The length of the call number is limited to 8 digits.
After switching to the system connection, please restart the base station by unplugging the
power adapter and then plugging it in again.

until "Configuration" is in the 1st line and
then select with OK
Press OK if you only wanted to verify
using NEXT search for "Point to P ." and
select with OK.
You have now set your system to system
connection
With OK select "P/P-phonenumber" .
Now enter the complete system call num-
ber:
National prefix
(e.g. 0049 for Germany),
After this enter the
local area code (e.g. 89 for Munich)
Last you enter the installation call
number that was assigned by the
phone company
