Operating the Standard Mobile Unit
Enter / Change System Code
For your security you can enter a new system code for your system. This protects your system
settings from modifications and the registrating of additional mobile units. All entries are made
from a mobile unit. The default system code is 0 0 0 0.

Note:
If you have entered an incorrect system code, a negative acknowledgement tone will sound
and the display will blink.
The procedure can be stopped by pressing the phone key.
If you forget the system code, then you will need technical assistance to access your sys-
tem. Forgetting the system code is similar to losing a key. In this case you should contact the
sales or service representative.

Press the displayed keys one after
another
Enter the previous system code.
Each number entered replaces a dash.
When finished, 8 dashes are displayed.
Enter new system code
(do not forget).
Each entered number replaces one of
the first 4 dashes.
Enter the new system code again.
Each entered number replaces one of
the second 4 dashes.
Press the save key.
System code is now stored.
