MOTORCYCLE SET-UP ADJUSTMENT
Place the motorcycle on the rear stand.

WARNING: The following adjustments must
be performed when the fuel tank is full.
Insert the setting-up arm (A) of the rear suspension
(special tool) in its appropriate seats as shown in the
figure.

Raise the rear part of the motorcycle by using the
handle and the passenger footrest, until the full exten-
sion of the rear shock absorber is reached; contempo-
raneously measure the distance X
extremity of the rear stand and the point on the setting-
up arm.
This operation must be carried out by two
N.B.
persons.
Check that the dimension X 1 is equal to:
BRUTALE 990 R:
BRUTALE 1090 RR:
If the dimension X 1 differs from the indicated value,
slacken the counternuts (1) of the connecting rods of
the rear suspension.
