When installing:
Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure: pay particular attention to the following.

Caution:
When installing, make sure that the Bowden cable
and the cable are correctly routed.
Make sure that the Bowden cables are free of kinks.
In addition (right belt buckle).
Do not trap the seat belt or damage it.
Check that the seat-belt central release mecha-
nism is in correct working order.

Tightening torques:
Fastener for belt buckle................................ 42 Nm
Replacing indicator switches for seat
belt

Note:
The switches are integral components of the belt
buckles and cannot be replaced separately; if nec-
essary, replace the belt buckle.

Replacing 3-point seat belt

Open the seat.
Remove the backrest.
Remove head restraint.
Remove the rear stowage compartment.
Remove left service cover.
Remove rear left side panel.
Remove the rear panel.
Remove left C-pillar trim panel.
Remove rear left side panel.
Remove inside trim from left C-pillar.
Remove secondary mudguard.

Using a blunt tool, pull the belt guide (arrow) in in-
terior trim of C pillar to one side.
Remove fastener (arrow) of belt buckle.
