When installing:

Note:
Always install a new gasket.
•
Secure crankshaft at TDC.
•
Use sliding sleeve for pistons,
BMW No. 11 7 632.
L
Note:
Do not damage the piston.
•
Carefully slip sleeve up and to one side to re-
move.

Replacing stud bolts

– Remove cylinder
•
Use visegrips to remove stud bolts.
When installing:
X
Stud bolt ...................................................... 10 Nm
