Open the seat
•
Fuel the vehicle

Final inspection and function check

•
Engine oil check
•
Release mechanism of seat belts
•
Clutch engagement speed
•
Steering
•
Brakes, front and rear
•
Check lights and signalling equipment:
•
Front and rear parking lights
•
Instrument lighting
•
Low and high headlight beams, headlight flasher
•
Brake light (operate front/rear brakes separately)
•
Turn signals left/right
•
Horn
•
Telltale and warning lights
•
Instruments
•
Check operation of optional extras, if fitted. Per-
form ABS pullaway test. In the event of a fault in
the system, the ABS warning light comes on as
soon as the vehicle is ridden for at least 10 sec-
onds at a speed of 30 km/h (approx. 20 mph) or
more
•
Trial run if necessary
•
Confirm pre-delivery check in Service and Tech-
nical Booklet
•
If defects are found, see "Checking the C 1 for
damage"

Final cleaning

•
Clean the C 1

Note:
Do not use a steam or high-pressure water jet. The
high steam or water pressure could damage seals,
the hydraulic system or electrical components.

Note:
The number-plate carrier is not pre-drilled so that
number plates of any shape can be set to the best
possible position
