Headlight

– Remove front fairing panel.
– Swing the headlight forward and down.

Note:
Do not touch inside of reflector and glass of bulbs
with bare hands.
Removing and installing

Open cable tie (arrow).
•
Disconnect plug (1) for headlight.
•
Pull bulb holder (2) for parking light out of head-
light housing.
•
Push headlight back.
•
Remove fasteners (arrows).
•
Remove headlight.
When installing:
•
Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure: pay particular attention to the following.

Caution:
When installing, make sure that the wiring harness is
correctly routed and secured.
– Secure wiring harness with cable ties.

Adjust headlight.
Setting:
... -10 cm (- 4.7 in) over a distance of 10 m (32.8 ft)

Replacing intermediate frame

– Remove headlight.

Remove fasteners (arrows) securing intermedi-
ate frame.
•
Remove intermediate frame.
When installing:
Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

Tightening torques:
Fasteners for intermediate frame .................... 9 Nm
