Film calibration
In this part, we always will elaborate a case for the lower tray. The procedure of
film calibration is identical for the upper tray.
The film calibration combines maximum density (Dmax) and sensitometry
calibration and is activated as one single procedure. Separate maximum
density and sensitometry calibration steps are not required.
Perform steps 1 to 2 of the

to select the 'Calibration' screen.
On the Select calibration menu, select 'Film calibration'.

The 'Select tray' screen appears:
1.Upper tray
2.Lower tray
Press the Up/Down arrow keys to select the desired tray, followed by the

Confirm key.
The 'Film calibration' screen appears:
The counter indicates the progress of the calibration process. The calibration film is
measured automatically by the built-in MDM (Macro Densitometer). The
Drystar 5302 is being calibrated during the printing process.
If the Drystar 5302 cannot read the Film identification tag, no calibration is
possible and the following message is displayed:
Press the Confirm key to retry calibrating.
If the film calibration failed, the following message will appear.

Press the Confirm key to retry return to the calibration menu.
