Reinstallation of the drum
To prevent scouring a new drum when the machine
is turned on, coat the new drum [A] with Lubricant
Powder (B1329700) before you install it.

Reinstallation
• Always reinstall the front end of the drum first.
• Never rotate the drum after reinstalling it.
• Always dust the drum before reinstallation after it was removed to replace or
service other parts in the PCU.
If the Lubricant Powder (B1329700) is not available...
If the lubricant powder is not available, coat the drum with this model's Yellow toner.

EVER USE TONER TAKEN FROM THE YELLOW
TONER HAS DEVELOPER MIXED WITH IT
To dust the drum with yellow toner:
1. Spread a small amount of fresh yellow toner on a clean sheet of paper.
2. Locate a clean, dry piece of cloth.
3. Touch the yellow toner with the surface of the cloth.
4. Dust the surface of the drum with the cloth until the entire surface is covered.
