The NI-2/QSIG Compliance Update feature makes the NI-2 and QSIG
interfaces compliant with the latest standards documents. This feature applies
to both Basic Rate Interface and Primary Rate Interface connections.
Note: ISDN BRI trunking is not available in North America.
Compliancy with the standards has evolved as follows:
• ETSI QSIG basic call functionality now complies with the ETS 300-172,
fourth edition (1997) standards document. Initially, support for the ISDN
ETSI QSIG interface and the basic call capability was introduced. This
version of the interface was based on the ETS 300-172, first edition
(1990) document.
