Making the product documentation available for the web server
information system
Overview
For selected topics, you can use the information system of the web server to directly access the
product documentation. To do this, you must make the product documentation available on a
prepared memory card.
Requirement
• You have an empty SD card with a maximum storage capacity of 32 GB (e.g.
6SL5970-0AA00-0AA0) onto which you can load the product documentation.
• You have connected a suitable SD card reader to your PC.
Procedure
To make the project documentation available for the web server information system, proceed as
follows:
1. Download the product documentation to your PC
The project documentation for the web server information system can be found on the
Internet:

The file "product_manual_edition_Webserver.zip" is located under "Annex to this article".
Explanation of the file name:
– Product: Abbreviated form of the converter name
– Manual: Abbreviated form of the manual title, for example "op_instr" for operating
– Edition: Month and year of publication of the manual in the format MMYY
1. Extract the "product_manual_edition_Webserver.zip" file downloaded.
The file contains all the available language files as separately zipped files.
2. Extract the required language file to a folder with the name of the ZIP file (e.g. for the English
version "product_manual_edition_en-US").
3. Insert the SD card into your PC's SD card reader.
4. In the root directory of the memory card, create a folder called "DOC".
