Creating the Control Mode Group

The control mode group allows you to access the control mode of the NETWORKER without
having to press the RESET and CONTROL MODE buttons on the NETWORKER. Other
terminals can also dial into the NETWORKER control mode once the control mode group is
created. Refer to the DATAPHONE II Series 700 User's Manual for more information on the
control mode.
A profile definition is not necessary for the control mode.
To create a Control Mode Group,
1. From the Configuration menu,

The system returns to the Configuration menu.
This completes the 719 NETWORKER setup procedure for one terminal or PC. To
configure the 719 to interface with NMS, go to Creating the Control Mode Group.
If the control mode group is deleted during a session, a new
control mode group must be defined before the current session
is over or you must reset the 719 NETWORKER to access it.
TYPE: 4 (Group Definition)
PRESS: Enter
The system displays the following prompt:
(Node 101) enter dial sequence >

The Group Type menu appears.
PRESS: Enter
The Control Mode Definition parameters menu appears.
