coupler.
Check the locking condition of
the coupler.
• Left front fork stepping motor
• Right front fork stepping motor
• Rear shock absorber assem-
bly stepping motor
Disconnect the coupler and
check the pins (bent or broken
terminals and locking condition
of the pins).

Connection of SCU coupler.
Check the locking condition of
the coupler.
Disconnect the coupler and
check the pins (bent or broken
terminals and locking condition
of the pins).

Connection of front fork step-
ping motor sub-lead coupler.
Check the locking condition of
the coupler.
Disconnect the coupler and
check the pins (bent or broken
terminals and locking condition
of the pins).

Wire harness and/or front fork
stepping motor sub-lead conti-
nuity.

Stepping motor: open or short circuit detected.
Improperly connected → Con-
nect the coupler securely or re-
place the wire harness.
Improperly connected → Con-
nect the coupler securely or re-
place the wire harness.
Improperly connected → Con-
nect the coupler securely or re-
place the wire harness.
Open or short circuit → Re-
place.
• Between SCU coupler and left
front fork stepping motor.

Turn the main switch to "OFF"
and back to "ON", and then
check the condition of the fault
code using the malfunction
mode of the Yamaha diagnostic
tool.
Condition is "Recovered" →
Service is finished.
Condition is "Detected" → Go to
item 2.
Turn the main switch to "OFF"
and back to "ON", and then
check the condition of the fault
code using the malfunction
mode of the Yamaha diagnostic
tool.
Condition is "Recovered" →
Service is finished.
Condition is "Detected" → Go to
item 3.
Turn the main switch to "OFF"
and back to "ON", and then
check the condition of the fault
code using the malfunction
mode of the Yamaha diagnostic
