Symptom Missing pulses detected in the front wheel sensor
signal.
Check or maintenance job
Check the components for looseness, distortion, and
bends.
Refer to "CHECKING THE FRONT WHEEL" on page
4-32.
Check the interior of the sensor housing and the surface
of the sensor rotor for foreign material, such as metal
particles. Clean the sensor housing and sensor rotor if
necessary.
Refer to "MAINTENANCE OF THE FRONT WHEEL
SENSOR AND SENSOR ROTOR" on page 4-33.
• Check the surface of the sensor rotor for damage.
• If there is visible damage, replace the sensor rotor.
Symptom Missing pulses detected in the rear wheel sensor sig-
nal.
Check or maintenance job
Check the components for looseness, distortion, and
bends.

Replace the hydraulic unit assembly.
Symptom Start switch signal is not received properly (start
switch circuit or start switch monitor circuit).
Check or maintenance job
Check the electric starting system.
