2. Install:
• Drive axle assembly
TIP
The middle drive gear "1" is not press fit. If the
middle drive gear falls off, install it with its cham-
fered side facing inward as shown in the illustra-
tion.
3. Install:
• Shift fork-C
• Shift drum assembly
• Springs
• Short shift fork guide bar
• Shift fork-R
• Shift fork-L
• Long shift fork guide bar
TIP
The embossed marks on the shift forks should
face towards the right side of the engine and be
in the following sequence: "R", "C", "L".
4. Install:
• Washer "1"

TIP
Install the washer with its chamfered side facing
towards the drive axle assembly as shown in the
illustration.
5. Install:
• Drive axle assembly
TIP
• The bearing pin "1" must face towards the rear
of the upper crankcase.
• Make sure the bearing circlip "2" is inserted into
the groove in the upper crankcase.

6. Check:
• Transmission
Rough movement → Repair.
TIP
Oil each gear, shaft, and bearing thoroughly.
