Point-to-point Network
A point-to-point network topology is shown in Figure 7-3. This type of network consists of
a series of individual point-to-point links between QFlex-400™ modems. As well as
dedicated point-to-point networks, point-to-point links are often used for occasional-use
links in larger point-to-multipoint networks or to address parts of the network that require
limited connectivity.

The Q-NET™ control applications will normally be located at the hub where there is
connectivity to the whole network.
