4. SET SHADOW MEMORY
Opening this section displays the following information.
Set SHADOW memory
SHADOW memory for ROM BIOS
SHADOW memory for VIDEO BIOS
Selecting one of the above causes another message to appear
requesting whether or not to enable shadow RAM for ROM or VIDEO
BIOS. Remember that Shadow RAM and EMS cannot be used at the
same time if your system has only 1MB of memory. With more than
1MB of memory, the 384KB above the 640KB of base memory can
be reserved for Shadow RAM.
5. WRITE TO CMOS AND REBOOT
If you select this and press <Enter>, the new settings will be
recorded in extended CMOS memory of the NEAT ChipSet. This in­
formation will be used by the system every time it boots up.
