7. Select Total Memory Size for EMS
Choosing this menu item displays the following list.
Specify the Memory Size for EMS use
1.0.5 MB
2 . 1MB
3.2 MB
4.3 MB
5.4 MB
6.5 MB
7.6 MB
8.7 MB
This section displays a list of the total memory available for
EMS use. The range is from 0.5MB to 7MB. Memory available for
EMS is always total memory minus 1MB except where total memory
is less than 1MB. In this case, 0.5MB is available for expanded mem­
ory. For example:
• If you have 4MB of memory, 3MB can be used for EMS.
• If you have 1MB of memory, 512KB can be used for EMS.
Once you complete the above you can proceed to the next sec­
tion on the Quickset main menu.
