Removing Paper Jams in Paper Drawer 3 or 4

If a paper jam occurs in paper drawer 3 or 4, a
display similar to the one on the right appears in the
touch panel display. Check where the jam occurred,
and follow the procedure below and the procedure
that appears in the touch panel display to remove the
jammed paper.

Press, then release the paper drawer release
button of the paper drawer indicated in the
touch panel display until the paper drawer
comes out.

Pull out the paper drawer.
NOTE
• If the drawer seems to be stuck halfway, do not pull
it out by force. Push it back into the copier, and
then try pressing the release button and pulling it
out again.

Remove any jammed paper.
