NOTE: * Each yellow lead must be tested.

Engine Wire Harness (Remote Control)

Performing service or maintenance without first disconnecting the battery can cause product damage, personal injury, or

death due to fire, explosion, electrical shock, or unexpected engine starting. Always disconnect the battery cables from the

battery before maintaining, servicing, installing, or removing engine or drive components.

Disconnect both of the battery cables from the battery.

Remove the timing belt cover and the recoil assembly. Refer to Section 8A ‑ Manual Starter.

Remove the two bolts and spacers securing the wire cover.

Pull the wire cover from the grommets in the intake manifold.
