Installing an IG550 Integrated Gateway with an existing Juniper J4350/J6350 Services Router
Inserting the TGM550, the TIMs, and the PIMs in the router, if
necessary

CAUTION:
If the J-series router was not shipped with the TGM550 and other boards already
CAUTION:
inserted, you should not insert the TGM550 and the other boards into the J-series
router before you are sure the router is running release 8.4 or higher. Failure to
comply with this caution may cause your system to become inoperable.
The TGM550, the TIMs, and the PIMs should already reside in the router chassis. However, if
these items are shipped separately from the router, insert them into the router now with the
following steps.
1. Determine the slots in which to insert the TGM550, TIMs, and PIMs. The slots must match
the configuration you plan to set up on the Communication Manager server. In addition, the
modules must be inserted according to limitations of the supported router models and slots.
