Appendix D: Removing and inserting TGM550 Field
The TGM550 module is available in three versions, depending on the type of VoIP module
installed:
MP80 VoIP module – 80 channels DSP daughterboard

MP20 VoIP module – 20 channels DSP daughterboard
●
MP10 VoIP module – 10 channels DSP daughterboard
●
You can replace the VoIP module on the TGM550 with any of the other two optional VoIP
modules.

Ordering equipment

When ordering a VoIP module, quote the following comcode:

Replacing a VoIP module

The TGM550 has one slot for a VoIP module. The slot can accommodate either an MP80,
MP20 or an MP10 VoIP module, providing 80, 20 or 10 VoIP channels, respectively.
Replacing the VoIP module requires the following steps:
1. Removing the TGM550 module
2. Removing a VoIP module
3. Inserting a VoIP module
4. Reinserting the TGM550 module
