Removing and inserting TGM550 Field Replaceable Units
ELECTROSTATIC ALERT:
Hold modules only by the edges to avoid damage from static electricity. Do not

touch the top or bottom of the circuit board. If possible, wear a wrist-strap and use
an anti-static bag.

CAUTION:
The connector pins can be bent or damaged if a module is handled roughly, or if

misaligned and then forced into position.

Removing the TGM550 module

1. Power down the Juniper router.

CAUTION:
The router must be turned off before inserting or removing the Avaya TGM550
CAUTION:
module. This module is not hot-swappable. If you attempt to remove or insert the
module while the router is turned on, the router might reset or malfunction in
some other way.
2. Using a small Phillips screw driver, remove the screws holding the TGM550 module in place
(see
