Migrating from an S8700 Media Server to an S8710 Media Server
You may be able to use the Upgrade Tool to upgrade the software on the S8300 Media Server,
depending on the media server version. For more information see Installation and Upgrades for
the Avaya G700 Media Gateway and Avaya S8300 Media Server (555-234-100).

You must stop call processing on the LSPs during the migration process. You can
