Migrating from an S8700 Media Server to an S8710 Media Server
9. Under Server Upgrades, click Linux Migration (Backup / Restore) to review the status of
the backup.
The system displays the Linux Migration - Backup / Restore Status window.
10. Select Display status
11. Click Submit.
The system displays the Linux Migration - Backup / Restore Status window.
This window may display a BACKUP COMPLETE message with possible series 200 error
messages. You can ignore these series 200 error messages and proceed with the backup.
12. On the services laptop, type ftp 192.11.13.6 and press Enter to initiate an FTP session
from the laptop to the S8700 Media Server.
13. For the login, type anonymous and press Enter.
14. For the password, type your email ID and press Enter.
15. Type cd pub and press Enter.
16. Type bin and press Enter to make the transfer in a binary format.
