Upgrade software on the LSPs

Although the LSPs remain registered with the primary controller, the LSPs will not

accept translations if they are running an older version of the software than the
primary controller.
You may use the Upgrade Tool to upgrade the firmware on the G700 Media Gateway. For more
detailed information on using the Upgrade Tool, see the job aid for Release 2.2 titled Job Aid:
Upgrade Tool and Worksheets (555-245-757, Issue 4).
You may be able to use the Upgrade Tool to upgrade the software on the S8300 Media Server,
depending on the media server version. For more information see Installation and Upgrades for
the Avaya G700 Media Gateway and Avaya S8300 Media Server (555-234-100).
