Avaya IP600

You can only migrate an Avaya IP600 to an Avaya S8700 or S8710 IP Connect configuration.
When migrating an existing Avaya IP600, you use one TN2312BP IPSI circuit pack to control
the port network. You replace the processor circuit pack with the IPSI in the cabinet in the A
position. For specific information on how to do this, see Converting a processor port network to
a port network (IP600) on page 116.
This is a service-affecting event. The IP600 chassis must be powered down to replace the
processor. Before powering down the chassis, you must do some premigration administration
(see Preconversion administration (S8100) on page 88 for the specific steps.
