Chapter 6: IP interface configuration

This chapter covers the following tasks:

Connecting to the IPSIs

IPSI address configuration
Programming the IPSI for DHCP addressing
Programming the IPSI for static addressing
Verifying that IPSIs are translated
Verifying connectivity to media server
Upgrading the IPSI firmware version (if necessary)
Enabling control of IPSIs
Verifying license status
At a minimum, you must program the reference TN2312BP IP Server Interface (IPSI) and
connect to it to avoid going into No License Mode. Once the IPSIs are connected to the control
network, they may alarm if the firmware is not the most current. The alarm automatically goes
away once the IPSI firmware is upgraded.
