The DTCO 1381 is an EC recording equipment that complies with
CR (EEC) 3821/85, annex I B for the registration, saving, display,
printing, and outputting of driver-based and vehicle-based data. It
may be used only for the purpose for which it is designed.
The DTCO 1381 may only be connected to voltages for which it is
designed and which can be seen in the wiring diagram (label).
For reasons of operational safety, no alterations may be made to the
accessories. Do not use any accessories other than those recom-
mended or approved by the manufacturer in order to help avoid
accidents and operational disruptions.
Make sure that the cables are undamaged, that other objects or
sources of heat cannot cause damages, and that the lines cannot
cause any undesired interference or disturbances.
Caution! Danger of fire due to short circuit
Damaged cables can cause short circuits, undesired interferences, or
disturbances.
Always replace damaged cables immediately!
While handling a DTCO 1381, which has not yet been activated, the
approved recording equipment manufacturer, vehicle manufacturer,
installer, or a workshop must guarantee the security of the
DTCO 1381.
Do not use any volatile solvents, such as alcohol, diluting agents,
naphtha, or abrasive cleaning solutions when cleaning the devices.
When dirty, clean the housing, the display and the function keys
using a slightly moistened cloth.
Avoid excessive impacts and vibrations. Do not use sharp or pointed
objects (such as pens) to operate the keys.
Keep the printer drawer closed at all times in order to avoid damages
and contamination.
