8 Check charcoal canister for cracks, hole and damage (See page EC–6).

9 Check voltage between terminals VC and E2 of ECM connector.

NG Replace charcoal canister.
CHECK:
(a) Remove the glove compartment (See page SF–73).
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.
CHECK:
Measure voltage between terminals VC and E2 of the ECM
connector.
OK:
Voltage: 4.5 ∼ 5.5 V
