Dial Tone Detection

When activated, this feature checks to see if there is a
dial tone. If activated for an external analog line, the se-
lected number is stored. The number is sent to an ex-
ternal line once the extension making the call receives
an external line dial tone from its local carrier. If the line
does not provide a dialing tone (line not installed), it is
automatically blocked by the system. With MF tele-
phones the number dialed will be transmitted to the ex-
ternal line approximately 4 to 5 seconds after the last
digit was dialed (1A dialing).
