4. Align a new joint (4) with the studs (not shown)
and install the joint to the cylinder block.
5. Attach a suitable lifting device to the engine oil pan
(7). The engine oil pan can weigh 100 kg (220 lb).
6. Use the lifting device to align the engine oil pan
(7) with the studs (not shown). Install the engine
oil pan to the cylinder block.
7. Install the setscrews (8) and (9), the nuts (10) and
the torx screws (11) finger tight.
8. Align the rear face of the engine oil pan to the
rear face of the cylinder block. Use Tooling (E)
and a feeler gauge in order to check the alignment
between the engine oil pan and the cylinder block.
