11. Troubleshooting
Problem
Misfeeds occur frequently.

The copy paper is wrinkled
or has been folded or
creased.
Printed paper is being used.
Sheets are sticking together.

You can print a single copy
without specifying the setting

Selected functions cannot be
used together.
Solution
• Use recommended paper. For
details about recommended
paper, see page 207
"Recommended Paper Sizes and
Types".
• Use paper that has been stored in
the recommended temperature
and humidity conditions. For
details about the proper way to
store paper, see page 240
"Paper Storage".
Do not load sheets that have already
been copied or printed onto by
another machine.
Fan the sheets thoroughly before
loading them. Alternatively, feed the
sheets into the machine one at a time.
Use paper that has been stored in the
recommended temperature and
humidity conditions. For details about
the paper storage conditions we
recommend, see page 240 "Paper
Storage".
Use recommended paper. For details
about recommended paper, see
page 207 "Recommended Paper Sizes
and Types".
Check the print quality by using the
sample copy function to print out only
the first set. See "Finishing", Basic
Operations.
