2. Settings for FAX Input
Setting Abbreviated Dialing Numbers
If a destination number has been previously programmed for abbreviated dialing, you can easily and
accurately set that destination without having to enter the fax number from the 10-Key Pad.
A maximum of 500 different destinations can be programmed including one-touch dialing numbers.
A list of destinations programmed for abbreviated dialing can be printed. "Printing Reports and Lists"

Touch [Abbr. #].

Select the abbreviated number, in which to
program the destination.
Useful Tips
• Touch the corresponding tab from [#000] to
[#400] and use [ ↓ ] or [ ↑ ] to select an empty
number key.
• You can also touch the [Abbr. #] key on the
bottom of the screen and enter the desired
abbreviated number from the 10-Key Pad to
select it. An abbreviated number can range
between 000 and 499.

Enter the name of the destination and touch
[Next].
