Some Precautions for Making Copies

Precautions for Book Copying
• Place the open book so that its top edge is at the rear of the machine and the center of the book is
aligned with the Book Marker indicated on the Original Length Scale.
• Make copies in ascending order of page.
• Select the desired zoom ratio and paper size.
Placing the Book on the Glass Correctly
Precautions for Copying through Original Glass
• If an original is placed directly on the Original Glass in 2-Sided, 2in1, 4in1, or Booklet, Separate Scan
will be automatically set.☞p.3-61
• Separate Scan will not be set, however, if the following settings have been made: Book - Separation - 2-
Sided Copy - Page Order - Standard.

The initial setting for the original copy type is 1-Sided
