VM ² WIRELESS SYSTEM MONITORING
HiQnet / 1GB Ethernet Connector
The HiQnet port is an Ethernet connection on the rear of the control surface, adjacent to the rear
USB sockets.
The port is capable of driving standard Ethernet distances of up to 100m.
This port is used for connecting to:
AKG wireless receivers via Hub4000Q.
Shure ULXD/QLXD wireless receivers via the receiver's Dante port (this connection uses Shure ACN protocol,
rather than HiQnet).
Wireless access point or router for connection of ViSiRemote iPad remote control app.
Soundcraft Realtime Rack for snapshot store/recall datalink.
A Harman network for transmission of Venue Preset commands and reception of HiQnet error messages.
An Ethernet switch should be used where more than one of the above connections are required
Menu Button
The [MENU] button opens the console's main menu system in the Master Bay touch screen area.
The console's HiQnet/Ethernet configuration can be accessed by pressing the main [MENU] button then the
SYSTEM tab and HIQNET layer.
