14.0: SNAPSHOTS, FILTERS
SNAPSHOTS, CUELISTS, FILTERS
Snapshots are records of parameter settings across the console. Snapshots are stored in and recalled from cues in
the cuelist. Cues can also trigger (or be triggered by) timecode, MIDI, and GPIO events. The 'scope' of a snapshot
describes which parts of the console are included in the snapshot recall, and which parts are left out. Scope is set
individually for every snapshot.
There is a separate snapshot filtering system called 'global filtering' which affects all snapshots. This uses the [ISO]
buttons on the console. The global filtering system can isolate console channels, blocks, and parameters from either
snapshot or show file recall.
Details on all aspects of snapshots, cue lists, and global filtering are included in this reference chapter.
NOTE: In order to store snapshots, you must first save a show. Default shows are write-protected as they are
intended as basic templates. Save a show by touching the Show's name in the Master Bay Vistonics Touchscreen (top
right corner) or by navigating to the Shows tab of the main menu.
For more information on Show storage / recall see section 16.2. Recall filtering (Global Filters, ISO) is covered in this
chapter, Section 14.4.
