This example uses the carolina.ttf font file. Replace this with a font of
your choice.
1 Convert the TTF file to a print file OR use TopAccess (recommended)
to upload the font file.
If you want to convert the TTF file to a print file (PRN), use the utility
ttf2hpf provided on the PCL Font Download Utilities CD as follows.
Convert the TTF file to PRN (Unix or DOS):
ttf2hpf carolina.ttf
Send the print file to the controller:
lpr -P <print queue> carolina.prn
or
copy carolina.prn \\<controller name>\dssc /b
2 Edit the PCL5 job to select the font. The following is a sample PCL file
listed here for explanation purposes.
