Guide Organization
This Administrator's Guide is organized in five parts, which are
subdivided into chapters. The following outline summarizes the
information contained in each part and chapter.
PART 1:
Chapter 1,
hardware and software components of the Electronic Document
Processing System (EDPS) fit within the overall installation scheme and
offers suggestions for devising your own installation strategy.
Chapter 2,
the installation of both the scan option and the fax option.
Chapter 3,
page 21 explains how to use the copier LCD touch screen to access the
controller protocol settings and then how to enable, disable, or adjust
them to match your network configuration.
Chapter 4,
explains how to access and change the controller settings from your
workstation using the web-based TopAccess utility.
Chapter 5,
the controller for use with a wireless LAN or a wireless peer-to-peer
network.
PART 2:
Chapter 6,
of how to set up the controller as a Novell network printer, print server, or
NDPS printer agent. For more detailed information, refer to your Novell
documentation.
Chapter 7,
the issues you should consider and the prerequisites for enabling printing
over a Microsoft-based network. It also provides step-by-step instructions
for using TopAccess to enable network printing on the controller over a
Microsoft-based network.
Chapter 8,

2.6, 7.0, 8.0, or 9.0, PA-RISC platforms running HP-UX 10.2 ro 11.0,
RS6000 platforms running IBM AIX 4.3x, Red Hat Linus 6.2 or 7.x, SuSE
7.0, and Mandrake Linux 7.1, or i386 platforms running OpenUnix/SCO
8.0.0.
