4. To remove the selection panel, the front door must now be removed. Turn the door
until it is almost closed, and then lift it to remove it from the two door hinges.
5. Lay the door on a flat surface. The selection board is secured to the front door with a
double-sided adhesive, therefore it must be pried off. Using a flat head screwdriver,
insert the tip between the selection board and the door, and carefully and slowly
pry the board off the door.
6. After the board is removed, place the board on your table with the adhesive side up.
After you remove the backing from the adhesive on the new selection board,
install the backing onto the adhesive of the old selection board. This prevents
the board from sticking to the packaging should it need to be returned to VKI
under warranty or for repair.
