1 - Unbox the Equipment

2 - Install the Counter Seal

requirements, the Eccellenza Touch must

3 - Installation Precautions
This equipment is designed for indoor use only and must never be installed outdoors.
I
nstallation of this equipment must comply with all local, state/provincial and federal
codes and regulations. It is the sole responsibility of the installer to research and to
comply with these codes and regulations.

his equipment must be installed on a dedicated 15 amp outlet. Do not install other
equipment on the same outlet/circuit.

Remove the two foam supports.
E
nsure that the equipment is level and stable. This is done by adjusting the levellers
(legs) at the bottom of the machine. Also, do not block any of the equipment's
ventilation ports.
Avoid
power source. If the use of an extension cord or power bar cannot be avoided and
must be used (this is not recommended by VKI Technologies), they must be of the
heavy duty type with a minimum rating of 15 Amps.

7 - Fill the Coffee Bean and Powder Dispensers

Open the two coffee bean dispenser lids.
Fill both of the dispensers with coffee beans.

Open the main powder dispenser lid and remove
the individual lid of the dispenser to be filled.
Replace and close all of the product dispenser lids.
8 - Checking the Water Temperature
To check the current water temperature in the hot water tank, remove and re-install the waste bin.
The machine displays the water temperature in the lower center of the screen during re-initialization.
9 - Initial Adjustments (using the Operator access code)
Set the Date and Time
Enter the set up of the machine and set the correct date and time. This is extremely useful when setting
the Energy Savings features, tracking data that the equipment has collected and when reports are sent
to the operator of the equipment. The date and time settings are found in the 'General Settings' menu.
Water Levels
The Eccellenza Touch is factory preset to only dispense 8-oz, 10-oz, and 12-oz cups sizes. The water
levels can be fine-tuned in the 'Setup' menu.
Gram Throws
You may need to fine-tune the gram throws for the coffee blends and powder types you will be using
in the equipment. This ensures that the equipment delivers the best tasting beverage possible.
Product settings are adjusted in the 'Setup' menu.
Beverages
The Eccellenza Touch is preset with all of the beverages and beverage options (such as cup sizes and
strengths) enabled. Beverage options are set in the 'Setup' menu.
Notifications
The Eccellenza Touch can be configured to provide notifications about usage and consumption, counters,
faults and messages, etc. To configure the 'Notifications' feature, go to the 'Network' menu.
Change PINs for the Operator and Administrator
To prevent unauthorized access to the Eccellenza Touch programming, we highly recommend that you
change the default PIN (Personal Identification Numbers) for both the Operator and Administrator.
Both PIN numbers can be changed in the 'Security' menu.
Coffee 1 = French Roast
Coffee 2 = Colombian

Fill each of the dispensers with powder.
DO NOT PACK THE POWDERS!
