Remove the new VRM from its packaging.
Hold the new VRM over the VRM socket and verify that the pins on

both VRM and socket are aligned.

Gently insert the new VRM into the socket and push in until it latches
into place.

Proceed to "Changing the Processor Speed" on page 45 below.

Changing the Processor Speed

If you upgrade the processor(s), you must change the processor clock speed
jumper settings as well. The following table shows the proper jumpers
settings for the processor you have selected.

After you have changed the jumper settings, reinstall the top cover and
power up the system.
Note:
Both the VRM and the
socket are keyed to prevent
improper connection.
Warning!
Running the processor at a
speed higher than it is rated
for will cause irreparable
damage to your system.
