Remove the drive from the drive bay assembly.

Install the new drive into the drive bay and secure with the screws
removed in step 4.
Replace the drive bay assembly.

Connect the drive cable to the drive, making sure that pin 1 on both
cable and drive are aligned.
Locate the diskette connector on the system board (see Figure 15 on

page 29).
Connect the drive cable, making certain to match pin 1 on both

connectors. On most standard cables, pin 1 is designated by a colored
wire on the cable. In some cases, the connector is keyed.

Connect the drive to the power supply, using an available power
connector.
Reinstall the top cover and power up the system.

Enter the BIOS Setup program by pressing
