Device Location

A.6.1

Environment

Choose a location that complies with the limits of temperature and humidity. Refer to
chapter D.3 for detailed environmental specification.
A.6.2

Table

Place the WideTEK A2 on a flat and solid base. The load-carrying
capacity of the base should exceed the device weight.
It is recommended that the table hold at least three times the weight of the device. The
table also should not shake or move to avoid image distortions.
A.6.3

Power outlet

Ensure that the power outlet is always accessible. This will help to
separate the device from the power outlet in case of an emergency.
A.6.4

Ambient Light

Choose a location with normal illumination. Direct sunlight or a bright floodlight shining on
the glass plate will reduce the quality of images or cause malfunction of the unit.
