B.8.2 Install
1. Start the WideTEK A2 scanner.
2. Start your browser.
Important: Clean your browser cache before installing the firmware update. Refer to the
browsers help for the necessary steps to do.
3. Enter the IP address of the scanner in your browser.
4. When the start screen appears, click the Setup Device button.
5. Choose the login level Poweruser.
6. Login with user name "Poweruser" and password "Poweruser".
7. Find the section Updates & Uploads. Click the Update Firmware" Button.
8. Use the Browse button for selecting the update archive "s2nfirm-x.yyz.zip".
9. Press the send file button.
10. Wait for approx. 30 to 40 seconds until the update is complete. The scanner then will
switch off itself automatically.
11. Restart the WideTEK A2 scanner.
12. After a firmware update, some device parameters must be calibrated again. Perform
the necessary steps for the calibration before scanning again.
