Orientation
Portrait / Landscape:
Select between portrait and landscape format. Some formats are
marked for easy orientation on the bottom side and on the left side of the
glass plate.
The portrait format is not always available. This depends on the selected
size of the scan area.
An invalid combination of scan area size and portrait format returns the
setting to the last valid setting or an error message is displayed. The
response is determined by the browser.
B.4.2.3
Additional Margin
Range for Additional Margin: -300 to 300 pixel
A positive value adds a margin in vertical and horizontal direction to the scanned image.
A negative value reduces the image in vertical and horizontal direction by the selected
size.
Example: Resolution = 200 dpi (dpi = dots per inch) and additional margin = 200 pixel
adds a border of one inch to the image.

Background Density [Binary]
Range for Background Density: 5 to 100
Controls the sensitivity of the automatic document size recognition. The higher the
selected value, the smaller the degree of sensitivity.
