RADIUS Configuration Parameters

You can configure the AP to communicate with up to four different RADIUS servers:
Primary Authentication Server
Back-up Authentication Server
Primary Accounting Server
Back-up Accounting Server
NOTE: You must configure the settings for at least one Authentication server before configuring the settings for an
Accounting server.
The back-up servers are optional, but when configured, the AP will communicate with the back-up server if the primary
server is off-line. You can configure the same server to perform both Authentication and Accounting services.
There are two screens where you configure RADIUS parameters:
You can enable and configure basic RADIUS parameters from the AP's Configure > Public Space > AAA > AAA
RADIUS screen. A RADIUS service profile must first be configured on the Profile tab and entered in the RADIUS
Default Profile field before enabling Radius.
You can configure RADIUS service profiles on the Configure > Public Space > AAA > Profile screen. A service
profile defines a certain RADIUS configuration.
If you are using RADIUS with Internal Authentication, see
information and step-by-step configuration instructions.

AAA Radius

You can enable and configure basic RADIUS parameters from the AP's Configure > Public Space > AAA > AAA
RADIUS screen. The RADIUS service profile must first be configured on the Profile tab and entered in the RADIUS
Default Profile field before enabling Radius.
